Will work as the right hand of the HR Director and be a POC for a workforce that is supportive of impact HR has.
This position will be instrumental in developing the foundation of the department while working to enhance the employee experience.
This position requires the candidate to speak fluent english and spanish and work on site 5 days a week.
Duties/
Responsibilities:

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and aptitude exams and other compliance trainings.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
Provide a dedicated and effective HR/Employee Experience advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
Travel up to 15% of the time within the midwest territory Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate with a diverse community, program participants, and the public.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail Ability to speak and understand Spanish Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
