Ability to obtain Secret US Citizen J ob Description The Tech Lead is responsible for the full-stack development of functionality by their agile development teamThe Tech Lead ensures the development processes are known and followed by the teamThe Tech Lead provides guidance to the team on technology, architecture, interfaces, and data services needed for the development effortThe Tech Lead monitors the progress of the team members to ensure each team member understands what is expected of them and has the tools and knowledge needed to complete assigned workThe Tech Lead mentors the team as needed on technical or process issues to enable team growthPrimary Responsibilitieso Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead and mentor a team of front-end software engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and directionFoster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging growth and professional development.
o Technical Strategy:
Collaborate with the Architects to define the technical direction, roadmap, and architecture for front-end developmentStay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and ensure the team's technical skills align with the latest advancements.
o Front-End Development:
Drive the design, development, and implementation of solutions, ensuring high-quality code, responsiveness, and scalabilityCollaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
o Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team membersEstablish and enforce best practices, coding guidelines, and quality assurance processes.
o Technical Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve complex technical issues, bottlenecks, and challenges related to front-end developmentProactively anticipate and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
o Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, back-end engineers, and stakeholdersClearly communicate technical concepts, strategies, and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Research and Innovation:
Stay informed about emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and toolsEvaluate and recommend the adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experienceQualifications Qualified Candidates will have:
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
o Seven
years as a software developer.
o Extensive experience in front-end software development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

o Proven experience in a leadership or tech lead role, leading a team of front-end engineers.
o Greenfield development expereince.
o Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architecture.

o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
